I use stretching techniques in my massage sessions to loosen the muscles and tendons, which relieves muscle fatigue. I find the origin of your pain, and release tension or improve the flexibility of your muscles, and identify any weakness or muscle imbalances. It is important to be aware of your body yourself and I will help you out. My remedial massage is a combination of different Japanese methods and theories. I am following and practicing KYT ( Ken Yamamoto Technique) and Mr Sugimoto’s method for years.
KYT is a new therapy to suggest the position of the ideal frame of the human body. KYT is based on Osteopathy without cracking bones and can take the pain away without touching the main site of complaint. Mr Yamamoto travels around the world and is regularly invited to countries such as the United States, Canada, Spain, Holland, England, Australia, Thailand and Singapore to teach his method to chiropractors, osteopaths, doctors and therapists. The KYT revolves around curing a local pain by regulating the whole.
Mr Sugimoto’s method brings out the natural healing power of our body using meridian lines and pressure points, and also teaches how to breathe/masticate properly. It sounds similar to Shiatsu but some techniques using hands/fingers and theory are a bit different. This technique can often take the pain away without touching the main site of complaint as well as KYT. Mr. Sugimoto also travels around the world to teach his method.
I also use dry needling if necessary. Dry needling is not acupuncture. It is concerned with treating musculoskeletal issues. It may feel like a slight pinch when the fine needles are inserted into the affected trigger points.
My massage techniques are combined and modified in order to give the best individual treatments for each person! If you want to improve your musculoskeletal functions and achieve your goal call Meg today!
