One big benefit to get regular massage
Getting a massage often sounds like an amazing idea, and it has the potential to change your life as well.
I have a client who booked regularly, like every 6 weeks for years. She got massage no matter what her condition. This sounds something all of us should do:-P My client complained about a problem from the neck to shoulder. Just because I know her body for years of massage, I noticed her arm was different than usual when compared to the neck/shoulder area. |
I told her about this and she didn’t really know what would cause something like this. Then after talking with her for a bit, I noticed that she started changing her daily habits.
What I realized is that the issue came from?
A garage door problem.
The idea here is that the garage door has been broken for a while, so she had to open as well as close it manually. Stuff like this won’t really feel like an actual problem until you realize what damage it causes.
She told her husband what we talked at her massage session and he fixed the garage door soon. After she came back for the next month, her condition returned to normal, there was no more neck and shoulder area issue.
What you have to realize here is that your body is always accustomed to a certain routine. As soon as you change it, that routine will bring in issues and that’s the thing that you want to avoid here. Repetitive movements are those that will end up causing a lot of pain and you don’t even realize it.
When you have massage session regularly, we, therapists probably find something different than usual and give you hints easily.
We can help you to avoid unnecessary discomfort your body. Even if changes like this will not seem that major at first, you will notice that as soon as you address them you will feel better.
And that’s the most important aspect about all of this, the fact that you end up better understanding your body and taking good care of yourself. It definitely becomes a chore to do that, but once you do it right, the experience itself will surely be amazing.

It becomes more of a hassle, true, but it also shows the true power of massage and how it can really change your life if you tackle it the right way.
