Muscle/ Joint pain in Cold Weather?
I'm not into cold weather especialy this week and shrugging my shoulders. Sounds familiar?
People usually bend over and shrug their shoulders when it's cold weather. PLUS you may feel like to stay chained to the lounge or bed and it is a great reason to skip some workouts. But If you already have shoulder neck problems, these muscle contractions will make the pain even worse. Cold weather causes muscles to lose more heat and contract, causing tightness throughout the body. Inactive muscles can make them tighten and your joints less elastic too. |
What you have to do?
Keep up some exercise
Try to keep moving as this generates heat and improves flexibility and the range of joint movement.
Stay hydrated
Come to massage:)
I can help you out to reset your body if self-care won't help.
